This is replacing my prior Martel mic, which suddenly died after daily use as a court reporter. Though it looks exactly the same as the one I’ve used for the last five years, it definitely is quite improved and the sound is amazing.

The HGM-2 is the best mic out there for the Luminex. Audio is crystal clear. I can monitor using this combination with earbuds for better-than-room clarity. My only choice by far!

This is an excellent microphone. It is the third one I have purchased over years of reporting because the range of audio is amazing and very clear. It’s an expensive microphone, but to me it’s worth every penny when you depend on clarity. I also enjoy having the battery tester attached. If you don’t see the red flash, it’s time to change your battery. Very easy to monitor the battery level.

I was amazed how clear this microphone sounded. I was picking up attorneys at the end of a 30-foot table. I would recommend it to other court reporters.

I had the HGM-2 and traded up for this one. While it is a bit pricy, I feel it is well worth the cost. The sound is really clear. It's better than the HGM-2
