Dear Martel,

     I regret the fact that I am unable to use the "Dash Hound" in my Chevrolet Impala, police cars. Although we found that the bracket works without affecting the air bag it still interferes with the line of sight of the officer when he is looking to the right through the windshield.

     You have a very good product at a cost that fits our small police department budget. The final consideration however was officer safety and the safety of the public in which we serve. The officer did not feel comfortable with sight obstruction.

      I am returning the unit and bracket. Thank you! For your company's policy for permitting us to testing the video equipment before we buy it. Your policy is by far the best in the police video market.

      In 2004 we will be purchasing a new fleet of police cars. We intend to look at other police cruisers and hopefully; we will be able to buy the video equipment from you at that time. I like the fact that the "Dash Hound" is so versatile and can be taken out of the car and used to investigate crime scenes as well as serious traffic accidents. Thanks again, for your help.
