In November of 2002, an effort was put
forth for our department to equip all of our patrol vehicles with video
cameras. It is now March of 2003 and by the end of April, all of our
vehicles should have one. |
| Some how Martel has managed to make available a product that meets and
in most cases exceeds the needs of our deputies at a very affordable price. |
We have found that besides the many traffic stops and D.U.I's recorded,
the information preserved on the tape serves as a wonderful training tool
and a log of information to be kept
on file for future reference. |
In the short time we've had the cameras, they have also been utilized for
accident reconstruction, domestic violence cases, criminal investigations
and to record evidence. |
Our department continues to find new ways to utilize the Dash-hound Video
System and thanks Martel for the opportunity to do so. |
