I use this recorder in a very large meeting room. The boundary microphones picked up the voices 30 feet around the recorder. The meeting recorders button are so user friendly. It only took me about 5 minutes to learn and set up, then I was recording my meetings all by myself. The recordings are .mp3 universal audio files that anyone can play. Love it!!!

This device was purchased for the City Clerk to record meetings. It works just as advertised and is simple and easy to use. The Clerk was very happy with the product and will be using it weekly or bi-weekly. We have just received it recently so we do not know about it's longevity. The only issue we had was the delay at customs in receiving the product. Everything else was great!

I bought this conference/meeting recorder a year ago. I have recored several meetings and the audio is great. The microphones came with 10 feet of cable so I ordered a 20 foot extension from this company. Since then I have added 2 more microphones making it into a 4 microphone conference recorder.

I love this conference recorder, its small, and portable for when I am traveling from office to office taking meeting for the sec filings. Martel definitely has a great product for recording conferences or meetings digitally to a sd card.

That is what I feel like when trying to search for a conference recorder. 4X confused. I finally found Martel conference recording kits that include everything I need to record meetings and small conference. The stereo conference recorder package worked perfectly for me and did not break the bank. Need to start the day off right and really do not need to stop recording after not having the right equipment. I am so happy I found Martel.

I needed to find out which meeting recorder would be the best for my needs. I read allot of websites but all of the talked about just a simple digital voice recorder. Ok. so most of the websites were of no use to a serious researcher like myself. I stumbled onto Martel website where I read in-depth information about meeting recorder packages. This was the type of real information I needed to make a decision. All of the packages came with multiple microphones, stands and all the accessories you are going to need to record a conference digitally. The recorder I chose had time date, 4 microphones, and even a digital transcriber so I could transcribe the minutes. Be careful websites stating top rate, best really do not have any bearing on what you need to record a conference or meeting. They are just simple voice recorders and most of them do not even include a ac power supply. Most of these digital voice recorders are made for simple memos. Some even have small recording times. What is important to take into consideration is that there is more than 450 different sound recorders and 15 different categories like music, nature, dictation, and telephone recorders. None of theses models will help you record a conference or business meeting. It is just a digital voice recorder alone you are going to get frustrated with the loss of voice recordings at you meeting. I good rule of measurement is price. You really can not get a solid top rated or even close to best meeting recorder kit without spending at least $300. The second huge tip off is that you will need at least 2 external microphones. Even better if they are boundary microphones with a omni direction pattern. This ensure 360 degrees of voice recordings. Third and most importantly is, are you going to have to store or transcribe the voice recordings. This is the snap in under $130 digital voice recorders. Some of them do not allow you to download to a pc or even have a type of audio file that can be played by a transcription software aka digital transcriber with usb foot pedal. Wow I hoped I helped you all out. I know it took me some time and frustration to get this all down. The meeting/conference recorders on Martel Electronics website all have the capabilities and features that are must haves that I mention in the above article. You will thank me for buying a Martel meeting recorder package.

We used to use a lanier tape recorder but now we use this simple meeting recorder with 2 microphones. The sound files are recorded to a sdhc memory card. We can store 200 hours of meetings on one card. The files are recorded in cd quality. Our conference never sounded so good.

We now have 3 of this conference recorders. we have a city planning, water department and recorder. We learned of this recording package by another city that was using this same stereo conference recorder kit. After the meeting I download the sd card to my pc and upload the audio files to my network. The two professional meeting microphones that came with the kit pick up the voice clearly even if the person is 30 feet away.

I now carry this meeting recorder everywhere. It works as advertised and make a great recording onto a sd card. I just wish it was little smaller to fit into my purse.
