If you are a city clerk or someone who needs to record a meeting with around 50 people, this is the unit to consider. Simply spread the 2 microphones on the table at opposite ends and hit the large red record button on the Marantz Recorder. You can record up to 100 hours on this recorder. When you are finished recording your meeting, simply plug in the foot pedal and the unit becomes a full featured transcriber with auto backspace. Digital transcribing without a computer. After being a court reporter for over 30 years, the PMD620 has made life simpler and easier. No big recording equipment and mikes to put out. This recorder is a must-have for reporters, especially those who have to move around, either as an official or freelancer!
