I was struggling with a consumer dictation recorder for years. The main problem was that I could rewind and correct my mistakes. I am so glad Google pointed me in the right direction to this lawyers dictation recorder. Now I can rewind, dock the recorder for recharging and in a minute it ends up at my secretaries desk where she transcribes it. Super, better than my Louis Vuitton purse.

Sorry I never write reviews and this may sound awkward. Now looking back I was too slow to change to the digital dictation equipment. Once I had this machine it was so easy to use. The perfect lawyers dictation machine works just like my old recorder. I wont make that mistake again. Next time I will call Martel and ask them what is the latest technology to make my law firm efficient.

I love to surf but I am so busy at my practice last year that I decided I need to get more productive about my voice dictation equipment. I researched googled and finally called Martel. Austin was my sales guy and he told me that for my firm we could totally eliminate 90% of the wasted time in transcription and moving files manually through our network. He recommended the Elite lawyers dictation recorder and digital transcriber. We now have 13 of these kits and we are humming along. My dictation solution works better than I imagined. Now I have more time to surf in the mornings. Billing is 10x faster and my lawyers are making more income.

I have to say that this is the best deal in dictation equipment. The dictation recorder alone is $499.00. The extra secretaries transcription kit is just the icing on the cake to us. I wish their was a package for $299 that would be awesome but this is the best buy on the internet.

So you have been asked to update your law firms dictation equipment like me. I really did not no where to start. Dictation equipment has evolved in the last couple of years into really complicated dictation recorders/digital transcribers. I really had to call the expert dictation specialist Austin at Martel. By the way his is extension is 107. He walked me through the differences in the recorders and how they could help our law firm save money and time. We need to integrate allot of digital dictation recorders and lawyers into a workflow solution. The transcription turn around was horrible on our outed old system. The billing hours and dictation documents were taken way too long. They crafted a dictation system where the dictation equipment when docked into the cradle in their office was sent to the support secretary for transcribing automatically. After a few months the system is working perfectly and we asked them to incorporate the Dragon legal lawyers edition Pro 12 voice recognition into the mix. Now by the time the audio dictation files are downloaded and moved to a pool file on our law firms server, the specific voice profile of each lawyer is opened and transcribed without human intervention. By the time the transcriptionist\secretary proof reads the document its way over 96% finished. Dragon NaturallySpeaking lawyers edition pro makes the draft document and send it through the system for completion. This cuts down on the words needed to be typed up by the secretary. The lawyers love our new dictation equipment.

We have been using lanier and olympus diction tape recorders for some time now, when both machines went on the blink. Both of our lawyers went it complete panic mode because they were both work many cases. I looked around for a dictation recorder that could rewind. The critical information lawyers need to know is that there is no more cassette dictation machines. They were all replaced by the perfect lawyers dictation recorder equipment package. We have had them now for 6 weeks now and they both love the recorders. They work just like the old tape recorders from lanier and olympus. Two thumbs up.

cheap or expensive is usually the choice for lawyers and their dictation equipment but what is the best answer. I found it Martel perfect lawyers dictation equipment is a great value. The dictation recorder dragon law recording system is worth $500 by itself. When you couple that with the law secretaries transcription software kit its well work over $700 of dictation equipment. Plus they even installed the software via gotomeeting. By the time I started the dragon lawyers edition 90% of the transcripts was already written and just need to be proof read. I dont recommend app on the phone for law dictation because you can not rewind and correct on the fly. Plus their just not convenient to hold. My iphone is just to big and clumsy to hold all day dictating briefs. When I started my law career I had little money to spend on dictation equipment, but now I know its the best investment to cut down transcription cost and increase billing hours. I found I am more likely to work if I can dictate in the car and on the go. Now for android does have one of the best speech to text engines available, and certainly the best engine on any mobile device. Here the downside of speech to text on any mobile device. You I mean you as a attorney...... listen closely cause you wont hear this from anyone else in the world! When use voice recognition you must change the entire way you speak and teach your self speed limits and punctuation. Bummer I know you all thought is was like the computer on the Enterprise Star Trek but its not. Its not a panacea and it has its place but if you are going to do your own proof reading and correction its going to be a huge waste of your time. If you use the Dragon lawyers edition on a pc and use a dictation recorder, so when you dock it and the dictation files are moved into dragon then its a winer. By the time its gets to your secretary its almost there but still needs a paralegal eye to correct it if you want to use it in court and make sure you dont look bad. Thats it I had to get it all on a review for all you lawyers.

Your guide to going digital for lawyers. Your new dictation equipment must have a rewind button on the recorder. Not having this feature is frustrating to us lawyers who can not dictate on the fly. Luckily this dictation recorder has that feature. Next important guide the dictation machine must have a docking station with the ability to email the files from my house to my secretary automatically, without me manually do it. Yes it has it. Finally the last thing is that it has to come with a transcriber or transcription kit for my secretary to type it up and it all must work together. Thats why I chose this lawyer dictation\transcription system solution. It has everything, I didn't have to piece meal it together and hope it would work. This package included everything I needed for one lawyer and one secretary, done. This is a 2014 must have for law firms looking to streamline their document creation, so we can bill faster. You know what I am talking about. Last thoughts when its your firm and its use of digital dictation and transcription technologies this is a great choice to buy. The dictation solution for global, multi-office firms can use the same recorder and Enterprise-level file management. One-on-one lawyer\sereaty or "pooled folder" transcription distribution with outsourcing of transcription companies this kit will work for all of your firms needs. Dragon legal Pro 5 integration to cut transcription turnaround by more than 71%. Dictate into the record then put it into the docking station our voice files are automatically downloaded, backed up, sliced diced, and transferred to the specific legal secretary. The lawyers digital dictation recorder is cleared of the recordings and ready to go for you in seconds. Attorneys have special needs for dictation and high security and this package works for all of it.

If you have be searching or researching the technology for law office dictation equipment for law offices then you know its all digital now. The outdated analogue tape dictation systems are no longer available and the replacement is this lawyers dictation equipment. I was lucky to find this machine the first time I did a search. We wanted to buy 2 of them but we ended up getting 6 dictation recorders. The unit works perfectly with our ftp agent at our firm. The dictation files are sent automatically from the dictation recorders around the country since we have law offices in different states to our websites FTP and then they are routed into our transcriptionist pool. The billing our attorneys hours is so quick now. I would gives this dictation equipment a five star reviews.

Best law office dictation equipment. I wish all my lawyers used this dictation machine.

our legal firm has had cassette dictation equipment for the last 5 years. We decided to upgrade and found this package or system. The dictation machine that is in this kit works on a simple slide to control just like our old olympus s830 recorder. When the lawyer is done he just hands the card to the secretary and she use the transcription kit to type up the work. Very simple.

I have had this lawyers dictation equipment for a month now and I was invited to review it today. I must admit I was skeptical about digital dictation equipment buy I am now a believer. It works just like my old tape recorder and the sound is great. My legal briefs are done quicker than ever and I really like the instant transfer of the dictation files into the secretaries computer. We just bought the dragon voice recognition from Martel and now we have integrated it into our dictation system. Thats all, works great.

I have used a lanier dictation tape recorder for 9 years now. I looked around and found they had been discontinued. The closest replacement for the dictation recorder was the lawyers dictation equipment from Martel. After I received it and tried it, yes it works just like my lanier tape recorder but easier. The files are moved directly to my secretary for transcription. She got the usb foot pedal so she can transcribe the dictation files. Now we are somewhat advanced. I would recommend this package for lawyers thats why I took the time to give it a positive reviews.

I admit i put off switching to digital dictation equipment for way too long. Now that I have this dictation recorder I love it. It works just like my old lanier tape recorder. Even my secretary appreciated the dragon voice recognition I added to this equipment. When I sit the recorder in the cradle it open dragon and start to transcribe the files. By the time she reads them they are 98% finished, huge time saver.

I have had this package for lawyers before. When I switch law offices I noticed this place was using a tape recorder dictation machine. I quickly picked up the phone and order this kit from Martel. Now 3 other lawyers in my firm are using the same dictation equipment and billing has really speeded up. Simple and efficient.

This dictation recorder made for law firms is awesome. The simple slide control allows the lawyers to record and erase just like the old tape recorders. The dictation system has really streamlined our work flow.

One of the nicer ways to move to digital dictation without having to learn transcription software is this kit. It works for our office because of the sensitive dictation that can not be put on a computer system. I just dictate like I have done with my tape recorder and when I am done hand the card to my secretary who put the card into the digital transcriber. simple. that's what i like.

We have bought this lawyers dictation recorder and transcriber thats uses digital sd cards instead of tapes. Digital versus Tape - Cassette. Professional handheld digital recorders work very much like the cassette dictation machines you may be used to: slide up the side switch to record, slide down to playback, hold down to rewind review. Digital dictation files can be sent over a lan network or the Internet/email to a transcriptionist. We chose this Law legal dictation equipment because its digital but doesn't need a computer to work. We just move the SD memory back and forth from the lawyer to the secretaries transcriber that sits on her desk. Perfection without all the hassle.

taking the full advantage of the new digital dictation\transcription equipment available on the market today was a big update to our office. Dictation was not the only concern but transcription for legal offices, law firms & lawyers. this was a big task that Martel made very easy for our legal department. I got the right number of professional hand held dictation devices\machines and the exact transcription kits we needed.

what makes the digital dictation machines so much better than the tape equipment is the files are instantly moved directly to the secretaries desk for transcribing. The billing is almost done before we leave. You know thats the life blood of any lawyers practice, billing hours. The tape dictation equipment was often not working properly and had to be fixed all the time. The attorney’s dictation has a author id attached to it so we know who is dictating and we can keep track of the audio files. The extra benefit we have know enjoyed is the automated voice recognition with the dictation recorders. It works in the back ground getting the audio files process and ready to be corrected by the transcriptionist. The dragon voice recognition combined with the professional dictation equipment we got from Martel has saved our law firms thousands of dollars each year.

My law firm made me find the dictation device that we were going to use and I love the Martel dictation transcription system. Since buying our first one we now have over 36 Martel dictation machines. The lawyers can even dictate on the road and email the files back to the firm for transcribing. Your law firm needs this dictation machine.

We got this dictation recorder some months ago and it has been a real improvement from the tape units we were using. My reviews of this product are as stated. The recorder is terrific the lawyer loves the rewind he really does not even know its digital, I love it because when he docks the dictation recorder it puts the audio file onto my desktop automactically. Two thumbs up. I just wish it typed it up, but he makes way too many mistakes for the voice recognition to work correctly.

I wrote this review of the lawyers dictation package. We had tape dictation recorders for years I think they were Lanier. We also have had sony dictation equipment but by far this recorder we got here sounds the best and was the easiest to use.

This was a late addition to our stable of olympus digital dictation recorders. The digital tape recorder worked perfectly since it records in the standard dss dictation file format. The digital tape dictation recorder is a much improved unit over the previous models. We searched for months trying to find law office dictation equipment that would be a fit for our agency. The lawyers dictation recorder was a perfect match. So easy!

I started with one of the digital dictation recorders, early this year. I have expanded by clients to over 11 of the law office digital dictation recorders. The slide control dictation recorder is the key feature on the recorder. It allows easy dictation control of the dictation recorder. The auto emailing function allows my clients to send me dictation files in the small dss file format. Two thumbs up for the lawyers dictation equipment it is the least expensive dictation recorder with the slide control.

I have 2 bosses one uses a Dictaphone tape recorder and the other uses this Dictation Digital Recorder. The Digital is much easier for me because the dictation files are email to me every day when he docks his digital recorder for recharging. Its a know brainier. I dislike all those dictation tapes I used to have to handle. The digital dictation audio files are easy to organize and transcribe.
