  1. Dont buy a professional dictation recorder before you read my review 5 Star Review

Don't buy regular dictation recorders with a push button. I spent allot of wasted money not on this dictation recorder but on a olympus push button to record. After I purchased this recorder with the thumb slide up to record switch the dictation and corrections I need to make went much faster. The docking charging station was a sweet edition also. I would highly recommend this recorder.

  2. lawers dictation digital equipment close reviews 4 Star Review

Researching or looking around for a good legal dictation recorder machine that we could use with our law firm which has 23 lawyers and paralegals. We have been looking to use digital recorders now to streamline our turn around on documents. This recorder has some features you as a lawyer need. The ability to cue and review is a must to correcting mistakes as you go. The next big advantage to a professional dictation equipment is that you can name the recorder so the files are labeled so we know who dictated them for billing purposes. Thats a big deal and a little know fact about pro dictation machines. Once you name the recorder all the files created on the recorder are named and when the files are routed automatically to the transcriptionist that retain those names. Now we can dock the recorders in the charging stations and the files are downloaded and put into a folder which in turn open the dragon legal pro edition and starts to type them up automatically. The speech recognition has been a big improvement in our work flow with voice. Martel friendly staff and expert knowledge made this experience easy. we now have 24 dictation recorders and 1 extra for a backup to our fleet. The only improvement I could recommend is that the recorders had a locating device on them so we could find missing dictation machines.
