Ok. So you have an old Courtroom that has bad acoustics and you can't hear the witness and attorneys. What do you do?
The Court Reporter Wireless Assistant is a high powered wireless transmitter and receiver with a small Audio Grabber microphone that doesn't need a battery. You can drop the wireless microphones transmitter anywhere in a courtroom and pick up the voices without running cables or mics.
Here's how it works. The system comes with 2 small boxes that are smaller than pack of cigarettes. One is the transmitter and one is the small receiver box that you can plug headphones into and listen. The receiver box also has a cable you can plug into a tape recorder or digital recorder and record the courtroom or deposition at the same time you are listening.
The system features a transmission range up to 150 feet, depending on conditions, with a 900 MHz FM transmission for high-quality sound. The complete kit includes a omnidirectional high powered mic, transmitter, receiver, monitoring earphone and three channels with a selector switch for low interference.

After a four-day jury trial with awful bench conference, I figured that in this day and age there MUST be some bluetooth device to make the bench conference easier. I came home, surfed over to Martel, and lo and behold there it was! I ended up with another jury trial shortly thereafter, and I was soooo pleased with this setup! I sat in my chair 20 feet away and heard everything as clear as a bell. It's made my life much easier, and I've told every reporter I can about it. Thanks, Martel!

I have been looking for a courtroom recorder with a wireless microphone system. We bought the DM246 courtroom recorder along with this wireless microphone system. The courtroom equipment we had was outdated and needed to be upgraded. Now I don't need to get up for sidebars. The system is wonderful I would recommend it to all courtrooms in the USA.

Wireless Microphones for Court. We use our Martel Courtroom recorder 4 channel court recorder in our circuit court. I have attached 3 of the Courtroom recorder wireless microphone assistants to our court recorder. One on the witness, one on the prosecutor and one sits with the judge. Its that simple. I am able to monitor all 3 at the same time with headphones from the COURTROOM RECORDER. That means I never have to get up for sidebars anymore. Now thats worth the $200 right there. Special note or information. The courtroom wireless microphone assistant uses regular AA batteries in the transmitter and works for 20 hours without replacing them. I know that amazing. I now use rechargeable duracell batteries in them, its perfect. Wireless Microphones for Court.

I sit 30 feet from the witness stand and away had to run a long microphone cable. Now I just drop the wireless assistant in front of the the witness and put my headphones on and it like they are talking into my ear. Its worked so well for me that I now have 2 of them one for the witness stand and one for the prosecutors table. both of the wireless microphones plug into the Court Reporter 5000 microphones input so I can record them. I love Martel. I recommended them to all the court reporters at my agency.

I as so glad someone has designed a wireless microphone system for court reporters and courtrooms. I can drop this tiny wireless microphone onto the sidebars and not have to get up anymore. The battery life is amazing it last all week on one battery. Martel has my business and I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years now using their other COURT REPORTER MICROPHONE(HGM1). If you work in a courtroom you need this this nifty assistant.

I needed a Court Reporter omnidirectional microphone for Steno machines and computers. The wireless court reporter microphone was perfect for dropping around the courtroom. The judges desk, attorneys desk, and witness are all with the pickup range of my new court reporter wireless microphone system.
