     What's the difference between standard VHS Tapes and Hi8 Tapes. 
    
     The VHS tapes like the ones that you play in your VCR at home, have only 230 lines of resolution.  The HI8 Tapes have a resolution of 400 lines. Ok what exactly does that mean?  Well that means that if you have to print a license plate or a suspects face off the video you taped with our system, it will have a higher resolution than VHS. This will make higher quality copies for court or the DA.  The Dash-hound system is exceptionally portable and easily transferred from vehicle to vehicle in just seconds with no installation or mounting tools required. The unit comes with a hard shell carrying case that can be locked and taken home with the officer.
