I had done my research about usb foot pedal transcription software now and decided to buy the universal transcription kit all n one. I have now used it on my new windows 7 pc. It loaded the first time and they helped me install the usb foot pedal and configure it correctly. There is a little know fact that the usb foot pedal has windows drivers made perfectly for the transcription kit install. USB foot pedal you must have a Windows based Transcription Software Application. Windows Media Player, and most other sound file players are not programmed to work with a USB foot pedal. If you need software to work with the USB foot pedal function correctly. This is vital information. We have used this usb foot pedal for all of transcription kit work. Our police agency not only uses the digital transcriber from Martel but we also use the usb foot pedal compatible with windows 7 and xp. The work load is so heavy that we go through usb foot pedals every 2 years or so. We definitely get our money out of this industrial usb foot pedal. Recently we have bought the video transcriber so we can transcribe dvd videos. It works with the windows media player. The All N One DVD\Video transcriber has been a real productivity boost for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this usb foot pedal.

I thought I need to build my own USB computer foot pedal. I was wrong. Martel already had a very simple to use usb foot pedal for a usb socket. I just plug it in and it worked right out of the box. Simple. When choosing a usb foot pedal make sure you know who you are buying from. Martel has been in business since 1957. I will continue to buy all my transcription equipment from them.
