Once the interview has been take by the officer the digital recorder is simply connected to the usb to a computer and the digital voice files are sent down to a central server for transcription. The files are time stamped and labeled with the police officer identification so searching and archiving is very simple. digital recorders become a important evidence tool for Police Officers, departments are now looking for a better way to manage the voice recordings.
