Customer Review, I recently bought 17 Olympus
DS5000 and 12 Olympus AS5000 for my goverment agency. Martel Electronics was the
only company I would by these from since they have been in business over
50 years. I did my home work, and read their history page. The Olympus
ds5000 is the best dictation recorder for improving productivity.
We set each olympus ds5000 with an ID name so when the dictation comes
in, we know which person is dictating. It makes easy to keep track of
large groups of dictators at my office. We could only achieve this with
the Olympus ds5000 digital recorder. Michael M.

I have used this Mac Pro Dictation Recorder with Lion now for months. Its a simple tape recorder/digital recorder that records to a card but works like a tape recorder. The software was easy to load on the mac and fast to use. The best feature is the slide control that allows me to easily rewind and correct my last words.

I have been researching and searching on Google for a dictation recorder that I can use on my mac. I called Martel and got the yes answer from them and they told me how to work it on my apple. The best feature of this dictation recorder is the rewind. Its the only digital dictation recorder that has this feature to my knowledge. It works just like my old tape recorder that was a Dictaphone.

The smart informed way to use a digital mac dictation recorder with a apple. I bought a Olympus DS5000 2 months ago. The Mac OS10 software came with the digital dictation recorder. I use it to dictate reports on jobs while I travel. The Digital Tape recorder is so simple to use along with the mac software to download and archive the recordings make it perfect. I email the dictation files off site to get transcribed and the dictation audio files are very small and easy to move around the internet. The best Mac Dictation Recorder.

Digital dictation recorder ds5000 Olympus has changed the way we create our billing cycle. The ds5000 has tape recorder features that rewind and insert dictation where we need it. It also have the cue and review that our dictators want. We send our dictation files through our LAN network in our office. Works great.

Dictation recorder made for windows 7 and Mac computers. The tape recorder features make it a great model for simple use. The rewind and insert along with email the dictation files make it a wonder dictation recorder. The dictation recorder ds5000 is a two thumbs up.

The professional dictation recorder that I recently bought from Martel is perfect. I use it to dictation police interview. The dictation recorder has a slide control making it a digital tape recorder, the only one in the world I am aware of at this time. The information I received from Martel let me make an intelligent choice of dictation/transcription recorder products. I check back here from time to time to get dictation news and updates on technology.

I recently outfitted our police department with 7 of the Olympus dictation recorder ds5000. We networked the software to our local server and the dictation recorder/equipment is working prefect. The great news of the dictation recorder is that it works just like a digital tape recorder, its so simple that I didn't have to show our people how to use it. I would definitely recommend the special information that Martel gave me for the OLYMPUS DICTATION RECORDER and transcription kit. I plan on completely updating the rest of our officers to this recorder later this year.

Digital dictation recorder information about the following olympus models. Olympus DS-5000iD Digital Recorder, Olympus DS-5000 Digital Recorder. Olympus DS-3400 Digital Recorder. Olympus DS-71 Digital Recorder. Olympus DS-2400 Digital Recorder. Olympus DS-40 Digital Voice Recorder. Olympus DS-50 Digital Voice Recorder. Wow too many terms and information to know. The most important information is the DS5000, ds3400 and ds2400 are made for dictation. The others are meeting recorder. OLYMPUS Digital Voice Recorders & Transcribers. The DS5000 and olympus ds3400 can use the olympus as5000 digital transcriber found at the bottom of this dictation information page. I had to do allot of research for my police department before we bought the olympus ds5000 dictation recorder. Now we have them on a network and the dictation recorders are assigned by name and id to an officer. When they are connected to the dictation recorder charger the audio files are auto downloaded with the officers name on the voice files to a central server. There the digital transcriber olympus as5000 opens them and one of our personnel transcribes the valuable dictation. The 2 components work perfectly together. The olympus ds5000 dictation recorder and the olympus as5000 digital transcriber system. Since we have over 50 officers to keep track of all their dictation would be impossible with the olympus digital dictation system solution for enterprise level users. The digital dictation recorder has large lit display for easy reading of the dictation files. The ds5000 is definitely a pro model dictation recorder.

The olympus ds5000 is the top of the line dictation recorder in the world. Learn more about it by talking to the knowledgeable people at Martel. I was convinced that this is the dictation recorder for special customers I have. The clients had mac computers and needed dictation equipment that worked on os10. The olympus ds5000 was the only professional dictation recorder that worked. It integrated with the mac and made by customers very happy with the olympus ds5000.

We recently purchased 5 of the Olympus digital dictation recorders. We set up a small office with Olympus digital dictation Olympus ds5000 recorders and 1 Olympus transcription kit as5000. The results were great. NOTE FOR MAC. MAC APPLE USERS this digital recorder is made for you also. The MAC compatible software is great and informational. The MAC UPDATES helped me get my dictation work done, news software. We have improved our turn around time on our stat dictation. The Olympus digital dictation recorder is very easy to dictate into. I would definitely recommend the Olympus digital dictation system.

The most important thing to know about the olympus ds5000 is that it records in a special DS2 voice audio format. You can only use the Digital transcription kit olympus as5000 transcription software to make your computer a digital transcriber for these olympus ds5000 recorders.
